About the job
The Stiftung Alterswohnen Muttenz offers elderly people a variety of tailored models for living, care, and nursing, creating a cozy and comfortable home for them. The foundation includes the Zum Park and Käppeli retirement and nursing homes with their 204 rooms, which have been organizationally merged.
Tasks
- Handling complex care situations
- Responsibility for the care of our residents
- Implementation and coordination of the nursing process
- Dealing with people with chronic illnesses, multimorbidity, cognitive impairments (e.g., dementia), and psychological impairments (e.g., depression)
- Accompanying and caring for people in their final stage of life within the framework of palliative care and end-of-life care
- Medication management, dressing changes for primary and secondary wounds, etc.
- Participation and involvement in case presentations
- External internship 2 is conducted in a cooperating institution
Requirements
- Completed secondary level 2: Federal VET diploma with or without vocational baccalaureate (preferably in health and social fields); specialized middle school certificate with or without specialized baccalaureate (preferably in health/natural sciences); Matura; completion of Rudolf Steiner School with IMS-F certificate
- Good German skills (European Framework C1)
A C1 certificate must be provided if you do not have German as your mother tongue and did not complete the FaGe training in a German-speaking area. - Enjoy working with people, empathy
- Ability to handle difficult and constantly changing situations well
- Mentally and physically resilient, responsible, team- and conflict-capable
