Team Leader: Order Picking Operations 100%

Your Tasks

• Operational leadership, promotion, and further development of three team leaders as well as around 10 logistics employees in the goods handling center
• Ensuring efficient personnel deployment and shift planning in order picking as well as in the entire WUZ West
• Responsibility for the central processes in order picking and material flow control
• Active participation in recruiting new employees and their onboarding
• Development and implementation of efficient order picking strategies to ensure high productivity, quality, and adherence to deadlines
• Supporting the team in daily business – both in the early and late shifts (between 05:00 - 22:00)
• Promoting a positive team culture and smooth information flow
• Assuming the deputy function of WUZ West management during their absence

Your Profile

• Completed further education in logistics and/or process engineering at HF level
• Several years of experience in order picking as well as in a leadership role
• Experience in personnel deployment planning and shift operations
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with a hands-on mentality
• Assertive, team- and solution-oriented personality with a role model function
• Analytical skills and practical problem-solving ability
• Confident appearance, strong communication skills, and decisiveness
• Good IT user skills (MS Office, warehouse management systems)
• High commitment, resilience, and flexibility regarding working hours
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
