Shape the insurance supervision of tomorrow with us: You lead a competent team, strategically develop supervision in actuarial and asset management, and make a noticeable contribution to a strong, future-oriented supervision. In addition, you are responsible for tariff and reserve audits as well as the examination of capital instruments assigned to tied assets – thereby strengthening the stability of the Swiss insurance location.
Main tasks
- Overall responsibility for the personnel, technical, and organizational management of the Actuarial and Asset Management Department
- Strategic development in the areas of actuarial, asset management, and tied assets
- Ongoing interactions with insurance companies as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Examination of tariffs in supplementary health insurance and occupational pension schemes as well as of settlement and surrender values in life insurance
- Examination of insurance technical reserves in all insurance lines
- Review of compliance with supervisory requirements in the area of investment activities of insurance companies
Profile
- University degree in mathematics, physics, or statistics as well as completed actuarial training
- At least 10 years of experience in actuarial, complemented by knowledge in risk management and/or asset management
- In-depth understanding of supervisory requirements in tariffing, insurance technical reserves, asset management, and tied assets
- Several years of leadership experience at a senior level
- Confident, communicative personality with pronounced analytical and conceptual thinking
- Very good German skills (C2) as well as good French (B2) and English skills (C1)
