Head of Special Education (70 - 80 %)
The Special Education Department is the competence center for pedagogy for special needs within the Department of School and Sports (DSS). As part of its advisory, support, and case management mandate, it plays a key role in the integrative schooling of students in regular schools as well as in external special schools. We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented Head of Special Education (70 - 80 %)Your Tasks
- Advising and providing professional support in the special education field to teachers, school principals, and other professionals involved in the school
- Initiating, accompanying, and reviewing external special school measures
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external partners: professionals, schools, institutions, and authorities
- Collegial cooperation within the Special Education Department team
Your Profile
- Completed Master’s degree (MA) in school special education or comparable higher education qualification
- Several years of professional experience in school integration or another field of special education in cycles 1 and 2
- High social and communication skills
- Engaging and committed personality with high resilience, flexibility, and assertiveness
- Teamwork skills and willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration
