About the position

As a laboratory electrical engineer (m/f/d), you are part of a dedicated team of scientists and technicians researching at the forefront of technological developments. This position is not a routine task – here you can work creatively, develop new laboratory processes when existing ones do not work, always with safety as the focus. This is what you can achieve

• Assistance in planning, setting up, and conducting experiments in the field of high voltage technology

• Close collaboration with scientists on projects related to circuit breakers, current interruption, and insulation

• Responsibility for the setup, maintenance, and improvement of test facilities and our laboratories

• Ensuring that safety and laboratory processes are followed, suggesting improvements

• Technical support in the development of new products

• Collaboration with and support of development engineers in the Hitachi Energy business units

What you bring with you

• Bachelor's degree (FH) in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification

• Knowledge in the setup and/or maintenance of electrical machines or laboratory equipment is required

• Experience in the field of high voltage or high current technology is an advantage

• Independent and proactive working style

• Technology-enthusiastic team player

• Very good knowledge of German and English
