Class and annual salary (including 13th month):

Tasks:
- ensure the leadership, management, coordination, planning, and control of the Section in line with the Department's objectives
- promote and ensure relations with internal and external partners of the Section and develop synergies
- define objectives, evaluate employee performance, ensure substitution procedures, development and training, and manage the financial resources allocated to the Section
- examine and decide on complex cases regarding migration and civil status with the respective office heads, as well as special cases of administrative detention pending forced deportation with the responsible officials
- propose new laws and regulations or the modification/abolition of existing ones to ensure updated and applicable legislation
- supervise, coordinate, and contribute to the drafting of messages, decisions, regulations, reports, responses to parliamentary acts, and consultation procedures, supporting the Director in the Section's field of activity
- chair and/or participate in sectoral conferences, working groups, and cantonal, inter-cantonal, and federal commissions, ensuring transparent information flow to political and operational bodies
- coordinate the Section's activities with a focus on quality, efficiency, innovation, and constant adaptation to institutional and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- university-level education, federal polytechnic school or professional university school (bachelor + master level), preferably in law, economics, or specialized technical fields
- several years of experience leading medium/large groups and managing complex projects
- excellent knowledge of the Italian language (conversation and writing), good knowledge (written and spoken) of official languages, and knowledge of English
- excellent communication and negotiation skills aimed at building and maintaining trustful relationships with external partners
- aptitude for mediation and managing complex or sensitive contexts
- excellent ability to read and manage topics with strong media impact
- good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills
- excellent decision-making, organizational, and conflict management skills
- goal-oriented and process optimization focus
- flexibility and excellent adaptability to changing work contexts
- strong stress management skills
- excellent conduct, no record incompatible with the function

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment rate), flexible or according to service needs
