Location/Division Specific Information:
The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.
How Will You Make an Impact?:
As a Warehouse & Logistics Specialist, you will ensure the physical flow of materials from goods receipt, accurate storage, picking, production supply, returns and delivery according to GMP requirements. You book all material movements in SAP and WMS, pack outgoing shipments based on material requirements (incl. sample shipments) and support the smooth flow of materials within the supply chain.
A Day in the Life:
- Receiving and checking consignments and booking in SAP
- Storing materials in accordance with material requirements, including operating the automated warehouse infrastructure (HBR)
- Provision of production replenishment according to orders
- Packing domestic and export shipments
- Handover of shipments to external forwarders and outgoing goods bookings as well as monitoring of shipments (tracking)
- Supporting inventory work, cleaning and other work in the warehouse
- Creation and collection of GxP documents for the warehouse and logistics area
- Assistance in the implementation of new or optimised processes in logistics
Education:
- Completed Logistics Apprenticeship
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain
- Experience with the management of hazardous goods/chemicals, refrigerated goods and frozen goods (down to -150°C)
- Experience with order pickers/fork lift (certificate)
Skills:
- Fluent in German, good knowledge of English
- Thorough, clean and precise way of working
- Independent, self-reliant, good organisational skills
- Team player and flexible
