On behalf of church congregations and the Roman Catholic regional church, we operate 9 Church Regional Social Services (KRSD) in the canton of Aargau. A cantonal co-leadership is responsible for the personnel and professional management. For this, we are looking for a Co-Department Head with expertise in Social Work (m/f/d) 80%

Your tasks

• Management of the KRSD area (just over 20 people) with a focus on personnel management (8 people directly) and professional development
• Leading regional steering groups as well as participating in cantonal and supraregional networks
• Promoting networking with institutions and partner organizations
• Leading projects as well as participating in cross-departmental working groups and public relations
• If interested: Supporting the management in social-political engagement: writing press releases, statements, participating in working groups and campaigns

Your profile

• University of applied sciences degree in Social Work and several years of professional experience
• Additional training in management and proven leadership skills
• Confident, representative appearance and strong communication skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking, independent working style and flexibility
• Interest in political and social issues
• You belong to a regional church and are open to a church environment
• Good knowledge of the social system in the canton of Aargau
