Head of Occupational Safety 100% (m/f/d)
Tasks
- Advise & Support – Be the first point of contact for all questions regarding occupational safety, health, and environmental protection
- Lead & Inspire – Take over the leadership of our safety team and promote an active safety culture
- Be Present – Be visible in the company, actively seek exchange with employees, and identify improvement potentials early
- Ensure Standards – Ensure that all legal and internal HSE guidelines are complied with and implemented
- Identify Hazards – Conduct safety inspections, check processes for effectiveness, and initiate improvements
- Control & Optimize – Conduct safety inspections and participate in internal and external audits
- Audits & Certifications – Conduct internal audits and accompany external certifications (ISO 9001/14001, BRCGS)
- Avoid Accidents – Analyze incidents, define effective measures, and check their implementation Digitize & Manage – Responsible for the digital training and chemical management system and ensure legally compliant documentation
- Train & Raise Awareness – Develop training materials, conduct practical training, and inform employees via various communication channels
Profile
- Safety Professional – You have completed further training as a "Specialist in Occupational Safety and Health Protection" (according to EKAS)
- Experienced & Competent – With several years of professional experience, especially in occupational safety in a manufacturing company, you know the challenges and solutions
- Technically Skilled – Your know-how in chemistry, forklifts, solvents, fire protection, and plant safety is solid
- Communicative & Strong Leader – You enjoy working with people, lead small teams confidently, and consistently achieve your goals
- Independent & Organized – Initiative, good self-management, and a structured way of working characterize you
- Languages & Technology – You have excellent German skills, English is an advantage, and you are proficient in using IT tools
- Mobile & Flexible – With a category B driving license, you are mobile at any time
