The Competence Center of the Geneva University Hospitals is looking for its future training officer to join the continuing education team. Aligned with the Human Resources Directorate's strategy, this sector deploys hybrid training systems and positions itself as a leader in innovation and educational design, serving the continuous development of skills of employees in Geneva's medical-social institutions (EMS).
Job Description
As part of your role, you are responsible for analyzing the training needs and requests of management and clients.
Your professional experience in the field as well as your knowledge of adult training concepts allow you to position yourself as a key and influential player with your various interlocutors (managers, human resources managers, employees). You are an agent of change and innovation. You are proactive and use your ability to understand the demands of professions to meet the institution's training needs. You are an actor in the transition of continuing education systems into the era of hybrid learning, within a collective intelligence approach.
You will also ensure professional monitoring, in partnership with business management, to anticipate the skills evolution of tomorrow.
As part of the ongoing organizational transformation of the competence development center, you do not hesitate to make improvement proposals. In regular contact with the various members of the educational team and your administrative colleagues, you promote collaborative work and team spirit, stimulation, and an innovation dynamic. You invest yourself alongside them to support the transformation of the competence development center, particularly the continuing education sector.
Qualifications
You master the concepts, methods, and pedagogical tools of reference. Holding a university Master's degree in adult education or a federal adult trainer certificate, you have at least three years of professional experience in training, more specifically in adult education design. Confirmed experience in the health and/or social sector will enhance your success in this mission serving HUG and partner institutions.
Your experience in a similar role and/or as a training consultant and/or coach as well as in change management are assets.
You have a methodical and structured approach to project management, allowing you to coordinate, prioritize activities, manage internal and/or external resources, while addressing budgetary aspects. This management is carried out in a spirit of continuous improvement, serving the needs and strategic challenges of your clients and partners.
This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills to successfully conduct various negotiations and identify stakeholders' expectations. Thanks to your client orientation, analytical and synthesis skills, you are able to provide the advice expected by the different stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and team spirit are required, as well as great rigor and availability.
