The vision of the visoparents foundation is a society in which every person can live equally with their individual abilities and strengths .
Among other offerings, the visoparents foundation runs the special school IFA (Intensive Support Autism Cycle 1) for children on the autism spectrum. By attending our school, the students have the chance for further education in an integrated regular or special school setting. Currently, we offer 12 school places in this program.
To complete our team, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement.
These are your tasks
- You take over the therapeutic support of the students in individual and group therapy sessions focusing on communication initiation.
- You apply for and introduce communication aids.
- You advise the staff and parents.
- You work closely with the person responsible for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
- You collaborate with the interdisciplinary professional team.
What you bring with you
- You have a completed training as a speech therapist recognized by the EDK.
- You have professional experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
- You are willing to develop in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication and with electronic aids and PECS.
- You have an efficient way of working.
- You are flexible.
- You are a service-oriented, empathetic, and responsible personality.
