About the Position
The High Voltage Products division of Hitachi Energy is recognized worldwide as a specialist in power transmission and distribution systems. At our site in Zurich-Oerlikon, we develop and manufacture gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. With state-of-the-art development tools and methods, we ensure the high reliability of our switchgear.
What you can achieve
Redesign and further development of handling tools for the assembly of GIS units and fields within the plant
Definition and implementation of standards, documentation, best practices, and procedures for all new and existing products to ensure the required quality and productivity
Analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to derive improvement measures
Training and certification of production staff
Further development of assembly processes and associated equipment with a focus on quality and productivity improvement
