We are looking for a committed, reliable, and team-oriented individual as a Veterinary Practice Assistant (TPA) Clinic Coordinator: Surgery – Small Animal Clinic 100% starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks:
In this versatile and responsible role, you will be 40% involved in coordination and 60% directly involved as a TPA in surgical care. You are the central interface between the Small Animal Medicine Clinic and other areas of the animal hospital:

• Coordination of internal processes and collaboration with reception, emergency, anesthesia, medicine, intensive care unit, IMC, and imaging
• Organization and planning of appointments for referred cases
• Checking and approval of invoices
• Transfer management of inpatient patients
• Communication with pet owners and referring veterinarians
• Participation in interdisciplinary reports
• Introduction of students at the beginning of their clinical rotations
• Support of the surgical team in patient care, surgery preparation, and aftercare

Your profile
You bring with you:

• Completed training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant (TPA)
• Experience in a hospital environment or in surgery is an advantage
• Enjoyment of a lively workday in a university environment
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• High social competence, resilience, and team spirit
• Quick comprehension and assertiveness
• Service orientation and strong communication skills
