More time for personal consultations

"Our customers are at the center of our actions. By adjusting the counter opening hours, we are creating additional capacity for personal consultation appointments. It is very important to us that we can take even more time for comprehensive consultation discussions," explains Nicole Lüthy, Head of Private Customers and member of the Executive Board. "We are further enhancing the quality of our advisory services so that our customers receive the best possible support for their financial concerns. Especially during longer consultations at the counter, the desired discretion could not always be fully guaranteed."
Proximity and personal contact are very important to NKB. Therefore, the bank consciously maintains all locations. The new counter opening hours at the NKB branches in Stans, Stansstad, Hergiswil, Wolfenschiessen, Buochs/Ennetbürgen, and Beckenried are as follows:

The branch in Länderpark retains the previous opening hours unchanged: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:00 and Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00.
More flexibility for personal consultation
By focusing on personal consultation, NKB wants to ensure that sufficient time is available for comprehensive and individually tailored discussions. "We have more time for our customers," emphasizes Nicole Lüthy. "Whether it is about comprehensive financial planning, real estate financing, or questions about our digital services – our advisors are happy to be available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m."
Decline in counter transactions, increasing demand for digital services
Analyses by NKB show that the number of counter transactions is declining while digital transactions are continuously increasing. At the same time, many services such as cash transactions can be conveniently handled at the self-service machines available around the clock. These are already available at the branches in Stans, Stansstad, Buochs/Ennetbürgen, Beckenried, and in Länderpark. Hergiswil and Wolfenschiessen will also soon be equipped with 24-hour self-service zones.
Digital Banking consultation hour
Additionally, NKB recently introduced the Digital Banking consultation hour. Here, customers have the opportunity to book appointments on topics such as e-banking, mobile banking app, or TWINT and receive individual advice. These appointments are also flexibly available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
