Shape the future of a significant pension fund: As Managing Director, you take overall responsibility for the operational, professional, and personnel management of the Siemens Pension Fund. You implement the strategy of the Board of Trustees and drive organizational development forward – focusing on digitalization, sustainability, and excellent services.
Your tasks
- Chairing the executive management as well as leading, developing, and operating the office (organization, processes, personnel). Prioritizing operational goals, ensuring an efficient organizational structure and workflow, and continuous process optimization.
- Initiating and implementing strategic projects (e.g., digitalization, investment, and pension development) while ensuring legal, regulatory, and supervisory compliance; overall responsibility for compliance and risk management.
- Implementing and monitoring the resolutions of the Board of Trustees and its committees.
- Strategic stakeholder management (beneficiaries, employers, supervisory authority, corporate units, employees).
- Budget, financial, and liquidity planning as well as reporting and controlling.
- Collaboration with department heads, external bodies, and consultants on investment and pension matters.
- Personnel planning, development, and management, including recruitment, talent promotion, and succession planning.
- Representation and communication internally and externally (media, corporation, associations).
- Ensuring business continuity and crisis management (including IT/data protection security).
- Monitoring relevant market trends (regulation, digitalization, ESG) and implementing future-oriented solutions.
Your profile
- Entrepreneurial, visionary leadership personality with high social competence, assertiveness, and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in an executive management or managing director role of a pension fund or as a mandate leader in pension fund management.
- Strong communication and service orientation, conflict resolution skills, and networking orientation, willingness to network within the industry and corporation.
- Experience in project and change management (digitalization, process optimization).
- University or university of applied sciences degree; advanced training in the pension sector (e.g., Federal Diploma Pension Fund Manager, Federal Specialist in Occupational Pensions, MAS/DAS Pension Fund Management) or equivalent qualification.
- Fluent German and very good English skills in spoken and written form.
- Advantageous: experience in an international corporate environment, knowledge of IT/cybersecurity requirements, and experience with outsourcing/service provider management (administration, asset management).
