We’re seeking a tech-savvy professional to lead IT and OT integration in our fully automated, high-volume production facility. You’ll be the bridge between our IT department and operations, designing and maintaining infrastructure, connecting machines to our MES system, and delivering real-time insights through data analytics and dashboards. This role also involves implementing AI and machine learning for predictive maintenance and supporting autonomous factory vehicles. If you have a strong IT background and hands-on OT experience in manufacturing, we are waiting for you!
Your responsibilities will be to:

Work with our IT department to design and maintain network infrastructure to connect our operations environment with IT systems. The focus will be high availability and reliability.

Manage data collected by production machinery and synchronize it with IT servers to allow data analysis and real time monitoring

Conduct in-depth data analytics, offering real-time feedback and actionable insights to optimize production processes and improve decision-making.

Connect all production machines to our MES system through MQTT ensuring efficient data flow and system interoperability

Implement AI solutions on production machinery to provide correction loops and to perform predictive maintenance

Maintain IT systems within production, including upgrading systems and backups

Support and program autonomous vehicles operating in the factory

Manage systems that allow remote access to our machines in case emergency support is needed
Our requirements:

B.S. or M.S. degree in HES field of studies or another related field

Hands-on experience with programing machinery, networking and data analysis

Understanding of operational technology in modern manufacturing environments

Experience of 5 to 10 years in similar positions in a manufacturing environment

Extensive experience with various programming languages (Python, SQL, LabVIEW, PLCs, C#, e.g.)

Good knowledge of data processing and analytics

Excellent English skills with good knowledge of either German or French

Willingness to occasionally travel across Europe
