The Cantonal Hospital Uri is highly committed to qualified young talent in healthcare and non-medical professions. With our approximately 80 training positions, we are among the largest training companies in the region. Nestled in the beautiful mountain world at the southern end of Lake Lucerne, the region offers numerous sports (30 minutes to various ski destinations) and cultural leisure opportunities as well as an extremely good connection to the urban regions of Zurich and Lucerne. We offer training positions ranging from one to four months in four different departments.The assistants receive a diverse training and competent support from the responsible doctors. We value a good teaching and learning culture as well as a pleasant working atmosphere and a trusting interaction. The assistants are equal to fully enrolled students of the Medical Faculty of Zurich in their training-related rights and obligations during the training period. The practical training completed is identical in content to that provided to fully enrolled medical students at the University of Zurich.
