Employee / Worker Road Maintenance Service
Hourly wage, approx. 600 hrs./year
Workplace: Schwyz | Start: November 1, 2025 or by arrangement

The Environment Department is responsible, among other things, for the operation and maintenance of district roads. As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a competent, reliable, and flexible person for assignments in road maintenance.
Your main tasks
Maintenance and care of district-owned roads, structures, and squares including on-call service
Winter service: snow and ice control including on-call service
Assistance with traffic service, signaling and marking work as well as cleaning of
road drainage
Support in combating neophytes and water body maintenance (including forestry work)
Your profile
Completed basic craft training or equivalent practical experience
Strong manual skills and enjoyment of working outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, resilient, and team-oriented personality
High flexibility and willingness for irregular, sometimes short-term assignments
Driver's license category B (additional categories advantageous)
Experience in road maintenance; chainsaw and wood harvesting course advantageous
