The Wetzikon School
is one of the largest elementary schools in the Zurich Oberland and is easily accessible by public transport. At the Walenbach Primary School we are looking for a starting January 5, 2026
Employment level: 12:00 weekly hours with approx. 25%
As an enthusiastic and motivated person with an affinity for children with special needs, you easily build good relationships with the students. You support the children in the class in close cooperation with the teacher and the specialist in school remedial education. You feel confident working alone with individual children or groups of children according to instructions and pitch in where needed. The middle school curriculum poses no difficulty for you; you are familiar with German grammar and fraction arithmetic. Are you also flexible? Then we look forward to getting to know you!
Your new school
The Walenbach school unit includes 14 primary school classes and 6 kindergartens with about 400 children. Four kindergartens are located outside the school complex and are spread throughout the neighborhood. The committed school team fosters a lively culture of collaboration and values good cooperation. Inclusive work has a high priority, and great importance is placed on the further development of the school culture. In addition, the school is enthusiastically a cooperation school of the PHZH.

Support from the class teachers during onboarding. We maintain regular collegial exchanges among the school assistants. Annual subject-specific training sessions take place in the community.
