Administrative Employee 40%
The Education and Migration Department offers training and further education for intercultural interpreters and mediators as well as for professionals in the asylum, refugee, and migration sector. On behalf of the federal government, the department is also involved in the network against female genital mutilation. Furthermore, it acts as a coordination partner for the canton of Schwyz in various employment and integration projects. On behalf of the cantons of Obwalden, Schwyz, and Zug, it supports migrants in the preparation and organization of voluntary as well as forced return.
Your tasks
- Support of project managers (FGM, further education, and employment program)
- Planning, organization, implementation, tendering, and registration procedures for educational offers for professionals in the asylum, refugee, and migration sector
- Preparation of contractual agreements with lecturers, multipliers, and other service providers
- General management of the secretariat (phone, email, mail, information dissemination, correspondence)
- Data management and maintenance in various tools
- Creation and revision of documentation, statistics, lists, etc.
- Substitution for a colleague within the same department
Our requirements
- Completed commercial training and at least three years of professional experience, ideally in the non-profit sector, educational institutions, or social organizations
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form, good knowledge of French and English is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office programs Open and friendly personality with organizational talent and networked thinking
- Independent, reliable, structured, and solution-oriented working style with high initiative and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask with parallel projects and appointments
- Ability to act calmly and solution-oriented in a dynamic environment with different stakeholders
Workplace is Lucerne
