The Bottmingen school, with 23 primary school classes and 7 kindergartens, is attended daily by around 570 students, who are taught and cared for by around 70 teachers. As a voluntary offer for parents and guardians, Bottmingen has been running a day structure with lunch and afternoon care since August 2004. The Bottmingen day structure started its operation as the first day structure integrated into the public primary school of the canton of Basel-Landschaft. Since then, the successful model has grown steadily and strongly. Currently, 270 children use the offer at one of the two locations Talholz and Burggarten. For the day structure location Burggarten, we are looking for a Care Specialist 30-35% (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) starting December 1, 2025.
Your tasks
- Caring for the children at the lunch tables and in the afternoon modules as well as in the holiday program
- Co-designing a structured daily routine as well as a holistic and professional leisure program
- Cooperation with parents, teachers and school social work
- Participation in team meetings, supervisions and further training
- Completed training as FaBe child or equivalent training
- Enjoyment of working with kindergarten and school children
- High communication and social skills as well as ability to work in a team
- Commitment, flexibility and resilience
