The Technical Vocational School Zurich TBZ is a competence center for basic and continuing education in the fields of automotive technology, information technology, electrical/electronics, event technology, and optometry.

Your tasks
As head of department, you lead the Information Technology department together with a co-leader and are a member of the school management. You bear the pedagogical, personnel, organizational, and financial responsibility and actively shape the further development of the department. You design the collaboration with the teachers, promote pedagogical development, and ensure the quality of teaching and training. You work closely with the heads of specialist groups and the course leader HF Informatics. In addition, you maintain contact with external partners such as training companies and authorities and contribute to school-wide projects and the quality development of the TBZ. The teaching assignment is 10 lessons per week.
Your profile
You have a teaching diploma for vocational subjects in a full-time position as well as several years of teaching experience. As a team-oriented and integrating personality, you promote exchange and collaboration both within your department and with other departments and the school management. You have the ability to bring together different perspectives and create viable solutions in the interest of the overall development of the school. You convince with a confident appearance, work solution-oriented, and think in a networked way.
