The School Quality Department in the Office for Primary Schools of the Canton of Thurgau is strengthening its team:

The school supervision accompanies the primary school, private schools, and private lessons in the canton. It primarily sees its role as supportive.

Within the framework of site meetings, audits, and rule-based advice, the school supervision ensures that schools fulfill their legal mandate and prudently manage their school and teaching quality.

Together with the specialist areas of school evaluation and special education, the school supervision forms the School Quality Department.

As a future team member, you bring the following profile:

• Professional experience as a teacher and as a school principal in primary school
• Enthusiasm for education policy and school development
• Competence in matters of school quality
• Further training in organizational development, leadership, and/or adult education
• Clear, appreciative, and assertive communication
• Negotiation skills and conflict competence
• Team spirit and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
