In our Public Lighting department within the Electricity and Telecommunications sector, we ensure on behalf of the city of Winterthur that streets, squares, and paths are safe and well-lit.
Your Tasks
- Creation, maintenance, and servicing of public lighting systems such as street lamps, underpasses, arcades, bus shelters, signage elements, and third-party systems
- Troubleshooting on the public lighting network
- Electrical connections and cable splicing in civil engineering
- Preparation and execution of lighting cable pulls
- Condition inspections and data collection on public lighting systems
Your Profile
- Basic training as a network electrician EFZ or assembly electrician EFZ
- Experience in the construction and maintenance of lighting systems
- Good physical condition, resilience, strong teamwork skills, and high safety and risk awareness
- Precise and independent working style, high reliability, and strong customer orientation
- Good German language skills (spoken and written)
- Driver's license category B, preferably with category BE (trailer), or willingness to obtain category BE (trailer) license
