- The OESP performs the tasks assigned by the penal code to the enforcement authority and the probation authority. It prepares and makes administrative decisions related to the application of criminal sanctions imposed on adults. It ensures the monitoring and control of the application of decisions from a risk management perspective, prevention of new offenses, and social integration.
- As head of the criminal evaluation unit, you ensure the operational management of the unit and implement work and control procedures. You conduct criminological evaluations through interviews with individuals serving a criminal sanction (in detention, in an institution, or in the community), especially in cases of serious offenses or violence. Based on this and with the aim of formulating individualized care recommendations, you prepare analytical reports to assess the risk of recidivism, analyze risk and protective factors. You also lead intervision sessions dedicated to criminological analysis and the monitoring of individuals involved in the evaluation process. Alongside your collaboration with a network of internal and external partners within the criminal justice chain, you support and coordinate your team daily, ensuring work organization and access to continuing education.
- Holder of a master's degree in criminology, psychology, or an equivalent qualification, you have several years of experience in a criminal, socio-educational field or related to managing complex situations (difficult personalities, psychiatric disorders, addictions, etc.). With skills in team leadership and management, you demonstrate active listening and leadership. Sufficient professional or clinical experience enables you to conduct criminological evaluations. Additionally, you master the use of risk assessment tools or are willing to train in their use. Equipped with writing, analysis, synthesis, negotiation, and mediation skills, you show resilience under pressure but are also capable of working in a challenging environment. You are motivated to work in an interdisciplinary context, have good interpersonal skills, and the ability to represent authority in various contexts.
Prerequisites: residence in Switzerland; category B driving license; clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract.
