Tasks

• Conducting neurological consultations for inpatients in musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Performing electroneurophysiological examinations and EEG assessments for inpatients
• Botox therapy for patients in inpatient neurorehabilitation on site
• Outpatient neurological assessments after traumatic brain injury
• Representation of diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in the inpatient area. This also includes the professional leadership of assistant and hospital specialists in the team
• Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and all professional groups involved in rehabilitation
• Participation in training and continuing education and in the continuous professional development of the department
• Participation in the senior medical on-call service

Profile

• Completed specialist training in neurology or possession of an equivalent title (MEBEKO recognition for foreign diploma)
• Certificate of competence for electroencephalography and electromyography required
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary teamwork
• Experience in rehabilitation medicine is an advantage
• High social competence, very good communication skills, and a professional appearance
• Flexibility, teamwork, and resilience
• Good PC skills
• Confident German language skills, foreign language skills are an advantage
