Rail Service Employee approx. 80% / Train Driver approx. 20%

What you can achieve

Assistance with operational, maintenance, and repair work on the cog railway route as well as its infrastructure and equipment
The following seasonal tasks await you: snow clearing, overhead line work, rock inspection, mowing, track maintenance, and repairs of the railway system
Operating the new and modern passenger locomotives including freight transport, and diesel-electric multipurpose equipment (training to become a train driver of category B60 will be completed internally and during employment)

What distinguishes you

Enjoy working in nature and mountains, in all weather conditions
Completed vocational training in a craft profession in construction, forestry/agriculture, or similar
Good surefootedness and unrestricted mobility in the mountains - sometimes also work on hanging ropes
Good health and tolerance of large altitude differences, good hearing and vision (no color blindness)
High flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to work on holidays and weekends
Teamwork, independence, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility
Confident German in spoken and written form as well as oral English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
