Teachers for Asylum Sector Schools
Migration and Civil Law Office | 20-100% | Chur
Currently, the Migration and Civil Law Office has 230 employees active at more than 20 locations and is responsible for all tasks in the field of migration, in particular for issuing and revoking permits, placement and support, enforcement of removals, as well as integration. In addition, the office issues identity documents to Swiss citizens, carries out naturalizations, and supervises civil status authorities. The main office of the Migration and Civil Law Office is located in Chur.
In our schools, we accompany the children of people in need of protection from Ukraine and other asylum sector individuals on their path to the German language and the education system. Based on the cantonal curriculum for compulsory school, we teach the mandatory school subjects. The promotion goal is a possible integration into a compulsory school in Switzerland or in the country of origin. For the Migration and Civil Law Office, we are looking for the following teachers starting August 1, 2026:

For the Migration and Civil Law Office, we are looking for the following teachers starting August 1, 2026:
- Primary school teacher in Rothenbrunnen (100%)
- Primary school teacher in Trimmis (70-80%, possible division of workload)
- Kindergarten teacher in job-sharing for the kindergarten in Davos Laret (approx. 50%)
- Upper grade teacher in Chur (30-40%)
- Special needs educator in Trimmis (approx. 20%)
Tasks
- Teaching children in the asylum sector
- Collaboration within a small collegial team where tasks are fairly distributed
- Flexible assumption of varied tasks in daily school life
- Constructive collaboration aimed at the well-being of students
- Managing difficult and crisis situations from a pedagogical perspective
