Main tasks
- Overall responsibility for the personnel, technical, and organizational management and further development of the department with about 20 employees distributed across three teams
- Member of the IT leadership team as well as the extended Operations leadership team
- Responsibility for creating the technological and procedural framework for the sustainable and comprehensive use of Artificial Intelligence based on a hybrid technology approach (Public Cloud and On-Premise)
- Responsibility for the sustainable, efficient, and forward-looking expansion and further development of the DWH/BI landscape along the entire Data Value Chain – from data collection to data usage – including classical and AI-based automation
- Participation in the further development of IT, Operations, Data, and Digital strategy as well as aligning the department for optimal implementation with result responsibility for strategic initiatives in the area of Analytics, Data & Automation
- (Further) development of relevant best practices (including ITGCs) and KPIs for effective management of the department
- Promotion of internal and cross-departmental collaboration through active shaping of changes and active employee development
- Active stakeholder management up to C-level and responsibility for topics at the executive management level
Profile
- Completed studies in computer science / business informatics or comparable education and training
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience as well as proven competence in leadership (over more than one hierarchical level) and strategy (definition and implementation)
- Strong sense for strategic contexts
- Leadership style characterized by servant leadership, empathy, and decisiveness
- Broad understanding of technologies as well as best practices regarding ITIL/ITSM/ITGC
- Proven relevant hands-on experience in a technical environment
- Know-how in the Microsoft BI stack, Azure ecosystem, and RPA as well as good networking in the area of Data, Analytics & AI is an advantage
- Healthy critical ability and willingness to continuously develop oneself
- Very good target-group-oriented communication with stakeholders up to C-level with the necessary ability to abstract
- Very good German skills (C2) and good English skills (at least B2); French skills are an advantage
