Maintenance & Mechanical Reliability Engineer
Workplace: Sion
Your mission:
Within the operations management unit, you play a key role in the reliability, availability, and development of hydroelectric facilities in collaboration with other units. You are the guarantor of efficient, flexible, and forward-looking sustainable operations.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure a global vision of the technical and strategic challenges of the facilities and ensure their coherence over time.
- Participate in design reviews, carry out preventive inspections during overhauls, and validate project transfers to operations.
- Support field teams in troubleshooting, closely linked with technical experts.
- Lead cross-analyses, capitalize on feedback, and promote a continuous improvement dynamic.
- Optimize and make maintenance work more flexible according to the priorities of each partner.
- Participate in the integration of digitalization projects into the operations process.
- Develop the CMMS and contribute to the transition towards maintenance 5.0.
- Analyze facility performance via 4.0 platforms and propose optimization actions.
- Conduct reliability and maintenance flexibility studies to strengthen operational performance.
- Develop standardized maintenance plans and tools that promote knowledge capitalization and sharing.
- Design training modules for the on-call service and participate in the engineer on-call service.
Your skills:
- EPF or HES engineer in mechanical engineering.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interest in data, statistical analyses, and risk assessment methods.
- Marked sensitivity to digital innovation and new technologies, with good programming skills.
- Autonomy and proactivity, with strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
- Ability to manage technical challenges in a matrix organization, coordinating various stakeholders.
- Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: listening, collaboration, ability to convince and work with diverse teams.
