- The Heritage Offenses Repression Commissariat (RIP), attached to the Judicial Police (PJ), specializes in investigations related to serious or serial crimes and offenses against property, including armed robberies, serial burglaries, and fencing. It works on dismantling criminal networks and actively participates in the fight against banditry.
You assist the head of the commissariat in managing the operational, managerial, and administrative activities of the RIP commissariat for the entire canton. In this context, you analyze phenomena and serial offenses to propose operational measures adapted to your field of activity. You also intervene in the field during large-scale or sensitive police operations and represent the Neuchâtel police within working groups as well as at conferences and public debates, at national and international levels.
Holder of the federal police certificate as well as the CC2 (which can be acquired on the job), you are comfortable in a second language, ideally German or English (level B2). Endowed with strong interpersonal intelligence, you master new technologies and rigorously apply judicial processes. Your analytical and synthetic mind helps you effectively understand complex situations. Curious, you have a solid general culture regarding crime and its developments. Furthermore, you adopt a proactive and innovative approach by questioning existing practices, developing new tools, and concretely contributing to the improvement of working methods. Your managerial skills allow you to unite a team, delegate wisely, and steer collective action efficiently. Finally, your national and international professional network is an additional asset. Your criminal record and debt enforcement office extract are clean.
