Job Description
Your tasks
- Preparation of the monthly reporting for the Business Units including meaningful variance analyses and recommendations for action
- Further development of activity-based costing and analysis of customer profitability
- Monitoring and success control of optimization measures to sustainably increase company profitability
- Preparation of monthly logistics reports as well as preparation and consolidation of reporting to the group
- Ensuring a plausible investment planning including reporting and regular variance analyses
- Active participation in the monthly closing process (IFRS) as well as in planning and preparation of the annual budget of the Business Units
- Ensuring data consistency as well as continuous optimization and documentation of controlling processes and used IT tools
- Supporting management through ad-hoc analyses and well-founded decision-making bases
Qualifications
- Completed studies with a focus on finance/controlling (university/FH) or equivalent further education
- At least 3 years of experience in controlling; ideally in a trade/logistics environment in an international context
- Experience with customer-based profitability accounting and knowledge of activity-based costing are advantageous
- Extensive S/4HANA knowledge is an advantage
- Very good MS Excel skills (Pivot, Power Query/Power Pivot are advantageous)
- Experience with BI/reporting tools is desirable
- Process-oriented thinking, high initiative, and hands-on mentality
- High sense of responsibility and integrity
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
