About the job
The Museum of Design Zurich is the leading Swiss museum for design and visual communication. Its collection unites over half a million objects from graphic and design history and is of international significance. As part of the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK, the museum is engaged in research and teaching and regularly produces its own publications. At its three locations in Zurich – at Ausstellungsstrasse, on the Toni-Areal university campus, and in the Le Corbusier Pavilion – as well as through traveling exhibitions and in the digital space, the museum reaches a broad, international audience.

Your tasks
You will support us in the care of the collection, in the object-related implementation of exhibitions, and in the handling of loans. In addition to activities for the preservation of the collection in the archives you will assist in developing conservation and restoration concepts for individual objects. Furthermore, you will gain insight into the various departments of the museum.

Your profile
You have a university degree (Bachelor or comparable qualification) in conservation and restoration and have a strong interest in our collections and their material diversity. You possess good oral and written language skills in German and English as well as IT knowledge. Additionally, you are proactive, flexible, service-oriented, and work independently as well as reliably. The internship can also be completed alongside studies.
