About the job
Intern Digital Communication 80 - 100%In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economy (AWI) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. With its approximately 120 employees, AWI bundles economic competencies and houses the areas of location promotion, work permits, labor relations, labor inspectorate, and economics as well as the staff.
The communications department is responsible for the internal and external communication of all topics at AWI and ensures a strong, credible, and consistent appearance of the office.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an intern for a fixed-term position of 12 months starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Maintenance of website content
- Management of the LinkedIn presence
- Management of content in the intranet
- Production of photo and video recordings for the intranet and social media channels
- Support for other external and internal communication measures of AWI (e.g., production of flyers, design of presentations, writing of announcements, etc.)
- Various organizational and administrative tasks (e.g., assisting in the organization of events, media appearances, press conferences, etc.)
Your profile:
- Completed / ongoing studies or equivalent training in communication, marketing, journalism, languages, or similar
- Confident German and a sense for storytelling and visual design
- Enthusiasm for social media as a producer and user
- Initial experience with content management systems, image and video editing programs, and design software is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of MS Office programs
- Interest in political events and economic topics
- Proactive and independent personality with team spirit
