In this position, you are co-responsible for evaluating new locations for data centers in Switzerland and Europe. You examine potential sites based on technical, regulatory, and strategic criteria, thus supporting the continuous development of our data center infrastructure.
In addition, the leasing of office space is gaining importance. You analyze existing lease agreements, identify optimization potentials, and accompany the introduction of modern management tools. As a committed member of our team, you thus make a significant contribution to the successful further development of our company.
Your area of responsibility
Main tasks (approx. 80%) – Support land acquisition for data centers
- Support in researching and identifying suitable plots in Switzerland and Europe
- Assistance in analyzing zoning plans, building regulations, and other location-relevant factors
- Collaboration in identifying and approaching landowners as well as preparing negotiations
- Support in legal, technical, and ecological due diligence clarifications
- Preparation of site analyses, reports, and presentations for management
- Preparation of company presentations for landowners and authorities
Secondary tasks (20%) – Responsible management
- Independent management of rented office spaces and parking lots
- Contact person for tenants and handling all concerns
- Organization and coordination of maintenance work and service providers
- Ensuring smooth operation and proper building maintenance
Your skills
- Completed commercial or technical basic training; further education in real estate, construction, spatial planning, or business is an advantage
- Initial experience in the real estate industry, ideally in management or acquisition
- Understanding of basic planning and building law topics (zoning plans, building regulations, usage provisions)
- Good analytical skills and experience in evaluating location, market, or infrastructure information
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Very good German skills; good English skills
- Additional European language skills (e.g., Italian, Spanish, French) are a plus
