About the job
For our specialized outpatient clinics in geriatric psychiatry and Memory Clinic at the attractive and modern location of the geriatric psychiatric outpatient clinic Aarau (SIWF recognized training center), we are looking for suitable reinforcement from October 2026 or by arrangement
Tasks
- Independent evidence-based integrated geriatric psychiatric-psychotherapeutic diagnostics and therapy within the framework of standardized processes of outpatient clinic services
- Careful structured case documentation including report writing
- Supervision and intervision of assistant physicians and psychologists
- Networking/collaboration with involved parties (general practitioner, hospital, relatives)
- Participation in interdisciplinary reports
- Collaboration in the multiprofessional and interdisciplinary team
- Situational involvement in concept work, WuF offers and projects according to management guidelines
Profile
- Advanced or completed specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- Interest in further training in the focus area of geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and ability to work in a team
- High social skills, independent and efficient working style as well as high resilience
- Enjoyment of multiprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Interest in leadership tasks (e.g. supervision and outpatient clinic concept)
