Emmental Hospital ensures high-quality medical care for 150,000 residents around the clock with specialists at its two hospital locations in Burgdorf and Langnau.
At the Institute for Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology of Emmental Hospital, we manage imaging diagnostics at both Burgdorf and Langnau locations and are also responsible for conventional X-ray examinations for several large practices in the catchment area. At both locations, we offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures – from X-ray and mammography to ultrasound, CT, and MRI.

Your tasks – what you will accomplish with us
- You independently perform radiological examinations in close collaboration with the medical team (including conventional X-ray, DL, CT, MRI, mammography depending on the area of deployment)
- You professionally and empathetically care for patients – from preparation through examination to follow-up care
- You consistently apply the principles of radiation protection and ensure high image and process quality
- You work in an interprofessional environment with radiologists, nursing staff, medicine, and referring physicians from the region
- Depending on experience and interest, you can contribute to specialized services, e.g., in interventional CT examinations or cardiac MRI
What you bring with you
- Diploma as Radiology Specialist HF or equivalent training recognized in Switzerland. (Applications from abroad: PreCheck is a must)
- Enjoyment of modern imaging and interest in a broad range of examinations in an acute hospital
- High customer orientation and strong communication skills in dealing with patients of all ages
- Responsible work in hospital operations and willingness to work shifts according to the duty roster
- Team spirit, humor, and enthusiasm to contribute to a manageable, collegial team
