Horticulturist EFZ
As a horticulturist, you ensure that color comes into the gardens!
Your tasks include:
Sowing, propagation, and cultivation of ornamental plants for outdoors and indoors.
The work takes place in the greenhouse or outside. Sometimes, horticulturists also plant and maintain flower beds, containers, or cemeteries. You are strong in customer consulting and have extensive knowledge of plants and
pests.
Requirements:
You enjoy working with plants, like to see them thrive, work precisely and carefully with your hands, and you are sociable and appreciate teamwork.
Training:
3 years, graduation with a Federal Certificate of Competence.
1 day per week of classes at the vocational school, a total of 17 days of inter-company courses (ÜK)
