Trainer for Automation Technicians and Automation Fitters (m/f/d)

To strengthen our vocational training team, we are looking for a committed and empathetic personality who accompanies, challenges, and supports our apprentices in automation technology and automation fitting on their training path and actively participates in assembly operations.

Your contribution

In this central role, you ensure a high-quality and practice-oriented training and actively shape the development of our apprentices:

• Active operational participation in assembly as well as professional and disciplinary leadership of the apprentices in automation technology and automation fitting
• Ensuring practical and sustainable training according to the training plan
• Support in exam preparations; accompaniment of partial exams and the IPA
• Responsible for occupational safety and youth protection
• Planning, conducting, and evaluating educational reports, location discussions, and apprentice meetings
• Coaching and support throughout the entire training period; active communication with internal stakeholders and supervisors
• Solution-oriented support with challenges faced by apprentices (including adherence to defined escalation levels)
• Recruitment of new apprentices as well as coordination with technical supervisors and external partners (e.g., schools, suppliers)

Your skills and talents

• Completed training as an automation technician as well as trainer qualification
• Experience in mechanical engineering, automation technician exam expert, experience working with young people is an advantage
• Target group-appropriate and confident communication in German as well as good English skills
• Confident handling of MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage
• High social competence and enjoyment in working with young people
• Teamwork skills as well as pronounced organizational and leadership strength
• Willingness to actively shape change processes
