The Department of Aging and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in the five senior centers as well as with Spitex.
For our long-term care at the Brühlgut Senior Center, which provides a well-maintained home for around 100 residents with various care situations, we are looking for a committed, communicative, and experienced leader as of February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your Tasks
- Ensure resident-oriented, professional, and economical care and nursing while considering internal guidelines and participate in their further development
- Lead and further develop the nursing management team
- Collaborate with the management team and the site management of the Brühlgut Senior Center
- Deputize for the site management in their absence
- Take responsibility for a demand-oriented staffing ratio adjusted to the demand and appropriate deployment planning as well as for compliance with the agreed budget
- Support operational conditions for maintaining and further developing the training mandate
- Participate in overarching projects and specialist topics at the level of aging and care and cooperate with the heads of care and nursing of all senior centers and Spitex as well as other relevant stakeholders
Your Profile
- Completed tertiary-level nursing education and solid leadership training in nursing management
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in senior and care institutions is an advantage
- Service-oriented attitude with the aim of providing residents with a life- and loveable home
- Clear and structured leadership style combined with a pronounced willingness to innovate and develop as well as reliability
- Business management knowledge and InterRAI LTCF knowledge are advantageous
- High social competence, assertiveness, and reliability even in stressful situations
- Team player
- Quick comprehension, networked thinking with good analytical skills, and an understanding of overarching contexts
