The State Forest Operation is one of 300 public forest owners in the canton of St. Gallen and, with nine foresters and five apprentices, the largest forestry employer and training company. The forests of the canton of St. Gallen are managed at the locations Goldach and Oberuzwil, and a variety of work is carried out for third parties.
