About the job

Would you like to apply your expertise as a diet cook and at the same time be part of our kitchen team? At the Embrach Care Centre, you prepare meals for residents, staff and guests and actively incorporate your knowledge of dietetics into everyday work. At the same time, you help us to further expand our expertise in this area. You will mainly work during the day shift with occasional evening shifts.

Your tasks

• Independent preparation of meals as well as all diet and special diets
• Implementation of individual diets for diabetes, allergies, intolerances and malnutrition
• Work at various stations in the kitchen
• Work on the catering line
• Compliance with hygiene and quality standards according to HACCP
• Use and maintenance of the menu ordering system
• Support in the training of our apprentice cooks

Your profile

• Completed professional training as a cook with a federal diploma as a diet cook
• Professional experience as a cook
• Expertise in the preparation of diet and special diets
• Knowledge of IDDSI standards for dysphagia-friendly diets is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German
• Independent and precise way of working
• Flexible, resilient and team-oriented personality with a strong service orientation
