Get involved in our Public Lighting department, which operates and maintains public lighting throughout the city of Winterthur on behalf of the city. Together with a motivated team, you can use your manual skills as a network electrician.
Your Tasks
- Creation, maintenance, and repair of public lighting systems, as well as troubleshooting
- Electrical connections in civil engineering for street lamps, underpasses, bus shelters, arcades, etc.
- Condition checks and data collection on public lighting systems
- Responsibility for organizing and coordinating your own construction site until handover to the planning office
- Creation of survey plans for lighting systems and electrical connections
Your Profile
- Basic training as a network electrician EFZ or electrical installer EFZ with several years of network construction experience in the electrical distribution network
- Experience and flair in the construction & maintenance of lighting systems as well as very good German skills
- Good physical condition, resilience, strong teamwork skills, and high safety and risk awareness
- Precise and independent working style, high reliability, and strong customer orientation
- Driver's license category B, preferably with category BE (trailer) as well as willingness for on-call duty
