Your Tasks
- In this role, you are responsible for the strategic positioning, brand management, and marketing of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts across all its academic and service areas.
- Together with around 50 employees in seven teams, you ensure that HSLU has a strong, consistent, and efficient presence across all stakeholder groups.
- A special focus is on the successful recruitment of students, continuing education participants, and research partners.
- You steer the development and implementation of the overarching M&C strategy, manage the budget with personnel and material cost responsibility, and ensure a strong anchoring of the university in its environment through professional stakeholder management.
- You strengthen the university sustainably by establishing it as a relevant and trustworthy partner in education, research, and society.
- As a member of the university management, you actively contribute to the strategic development of HSLU and bring in the perspective of marketing and communication. You are also a member of the Board of Trustees of the HSLU Foundation.
Your Profile
- You have a university degree (university or university of applied sciences), complemented by advanced training in marketing and communication.
- You bring several years of leadership experience in a comparable role with overall responsibility for the comprehensive area of tasks.
- You have proven expertise in brand management, content marketing, and lead management as well as in internal and external communication.
- In addition, you have very high digital competence and an excellent understanding of contemporary product and service marketing. You understand that the mandate goes beyond classical marketing.
- Your thinking is entrepreneurial and networked. You are characterized by innovative strength and are skilled at translating ideas into viable concepts and successfully managing complex change processes.
- With foresight and a sense for developments, you recognize relevant trends early, derive opportunities from them, and consistently use them for the further development of the university.
- With your confident appearance and negotiation skills, you succeed in involving and convincing different stakeholder groups.
