Specialist Responsibility Adult Education «German and Integration» 80-90% Thurgau
HEKS in-fra is a language and integration program for women, men, and children and offers German courses at various levels in the canton of Thurgau. Currently, these are 50 semester courses at 4 locations (Arbon, Amriswil, Weinfelden, and Kreuzlingen), conducted by 15 course instructors. HEKS in-fra is also an accredited fide examination institution.
We are now filling an exciting position in which you will take over the professional and personnel management of our course instructors and at the same time shape the further development and quality of our educational offerings. You ensure that our courses meet high andragogical standards, are oriented to needs and current trends, and accompany people in their development.
For this, we are looking for someone immediately or by agreement
Professional and personnel management at the course instructor level
- Take over professional and personnel responsibility for the course instructors and ensure their continuous development
- Plan and lead team meetings, intervisions, and training measures
- Visit course instructors in class and provide professional, methodological, and didactic support
- Responsible for the entire personnel cycle from recruitment, onboarding to feedback and annual discussions
- Be the first contact person for course instructors on personnel matters
Professional management at the quality and development level
- Andragogical concept and quality: Continuously develop the educational concept and co-responsible for quality assurance/development (including eduQua, fide)
- Internal development: Initiate internal training, team processes, and intervisions
- Offer development: Design new offers, evaluate, optimize existing ones, and incorporate trends into strategic processes
- Consultation and learning reports: Responsible for learning reports and advise course participants and referring agencies on course offerings and follow-up solutions
- Planning and coordination: Coordinate and create deployment and course planning
- Network and interfaces: Maintain a broad professional network and ensure internal and external interfaces
- Completed studies or higher professional training in the field of DaF/DaZ, adult education, pedagogy, social sciences, or a comparable qualification (ideally with a federal specialist certificate as a trainer)
- Many years of experience in adult education, especially in language teaching (German as a second language)
- Training or further education in leadership, counseling, or coaching desirable
- fide certificate "Language course instructors in the integration area"
- Solid knowledge in didactics and methodology of adult education as well as in quality assurance (eduQua, fide advantageous)
- Strong organizational and conceptual skills, enjoyment in further developing educational offerings
- Communicative, empathetic personality with counseling competence, foresight, willingness to maintain networks
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented working style in close cooperation with internal and external partners
