Trainee – Testing Lab Assistant

As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.

Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

Your responsibilities

– Checking supplier and qualification process status

– Collect material needs from Testing Lab, issuing Purchase Request, following-up of Purchase Orders and eventual delivery

– Material incoming (correctness, completeness)

– Gathering quality documentation

– Material inventorying

– Supporting test activities

Your qualification & experience

– Recently obtained Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or similar

– Knowledge regarding material management (such as incoming, allocation and storage of parts and equipment) an asset

– Good knowledge of written and spoken English (minimum B2)

– Proactive and independent thinking and acting

– Very good organizational skills
