About the job
Since 1912, the EKT Group has been reliably supplying the people of Thurgau with energy and data and providing services for companies, municipalities, schools, and private individuals. EKT AG employs around 120 dedicated staff, including 8 apprentices, and trains young professionals in three occupations.

Vocational Training Manager 50-60%
Your responsibilities with us
- Overall responsibility for the vocational training of all apprentices at EKT AG (commercial employees, network electricians, and IT specialists)
- Planning, organizing, and administering the entire training process from recruiting apprentices to final certification
- Supervising, promoting, and supporting apprentices as well as advising and supporting vocational and practical trainers
- Conducting introductory, probationary, status, and qualification interviews as well as accompanying contract terminations
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, guidelines, and deadlines
- Planning, organizing, and conducting training events, information sessions, and career fairs
- Maintaining communication with apprentices, parents, vocational schools, associations, and authorities
- Conceptual development and optimization of vocational training
Your profile
- High social competence, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Organizational talent with great initiative as well as precise, structured, and independent working style
- Resilient, flexible, and team-oriented
- Completed commercial basic training
- Experience in a similar role
- Completed vocational trainer course
- Good MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with digital learning platforms (e.g., Konvink and time2learn)
- SVEB certificate (conducting learning events) is an advantage or willingness to obtain it
- Willingness for external assignments (visits to EKT Group locations, career fairs, or school events)
