For our team, we are looking for an experienced credit analyst with proven expertise in the mortgage sector. The role combines demanding credit analysis with active participation in projects related to process optimization, digitization, and system development.
Your area of responsibility
- Review, analysis, and approval of demanding new mortgage applications as well as inquiries from existing customers in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Comprehensive handling of credit processes according to internal and regulatory requirements
- Professional responsibility in the daily credit decision-making process, including risk assessment, providing expert input, and support with complex issues
- Close collaboration with sales, business analysis, land registry offices, refinancing partners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure an efficient end-to-end credit process
- Active participation in projects for process optimization, digitization, and further development of core systems (including WinCredit)
- Contribution to strategic initiatives to increase efficiency, improve quality, and further develop the credit and approval process
Your strengths
- Completed commercial training and several years of experience in the mortgage business at a Swiss financial institution, preferably with a completed degree at FH/HF level (e.g., Bachelor in Banking & Finance) or a relevant federal professional certificate (e.g., FA Real Estate Valuation)
- Very good understanding of risk management, regulatory requirements, and credit-relevant processes
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, combined with the ability to accurately assess complex situations and make well-founded decisions
- High standards for design, assertiveness, and strong communication skills to constructively question, convince, and collaborate effectively across departments with internal and external partners
- Excellent organizational talent with the ability to manage several demanding topics in parallel, as well as high openness to change, digitization, and systemic development (WinCredit advantageous)
- Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
