Degree in electrical engineering or related field; experience in energy supply.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and grid operation.
Excellent organization skills and ability to manage projects independently.

What you will do here

Co-responsible for applied research projects in the field of voltage quality and target network planning (independent project management if interested and suitable), participate in the acquisition of new projects
Active participation in the daily business of the Laboratory for Electrical Power Networks : conduct measurements, simulations and studies, perform research, write reports and publications
Represent the laboratory at customers (especially distribution network operators) and research partners; present project results, lead meetings, give presentations (in German and English)
Technical supervision of employees and students
Occasional support in teaching (individual lectures, exercises or practicals)

What you ideally bring with you

Completed studies in electrical engineering or a comparable field; professional experience in the field of electrical power supply
Solid knowledge in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical power supply, power grids and/or power electronics; ideally experience in the planning or operation of distribution networks
Strong organizational skills both for your own work and in supervising employees; experience in independently planning and carrying out projects
Quick comprehension of customer concerns and confident appearance in front of an audience
Very good German skills in spoken and written form (native level or C1), good English skills
