Catechetics / Youth Work

The Breite church community includes the political municipalities of Bassersdorf, Nürensdorf, Brütten and Lindau with almost 7,000 reformed residents. As an active church community, we employ six pastors, three deaconesses, five sextons and two deputies, five organists, three catechists and 2 youth workers as well as three administrative staff. 

Your main tasks are

• Providing church instruction according to the concept of the cantonal church (rpg, 2nd-4th grade)
• Planning and participating in JuKi events (5th-8th grade)
• Relationship work, counseling and support for children and their parents
• Networking and cooperation with cantonal and local specialist offices and institutions 

Your profile

• Enthusiasm for children and their parents
• High initiative, independence, creativity and sociability
• You enjoy being active on social media
• Willingness to work evenings and some weekends
• Training and experience in catechetics desired
• You are familiar with and a member of the Reformed Cantonal Church
